AP‑4® was developed, not discovered. Our founding team of PhD plant scientists selected and cultivated a single Rosa canina variety for its exceptional bioactive profile, then verified its identity through DNA barcoding, with the sequence deposited under our own scientists’ names. No other rosehip on the market carries this level of documented genetic identity.
AP‑4® is grown exclusively on our own certified organic plantations in Southern Chile (DE‑ÖKO‑003), never wild-harvested or sourced through third parties. Southern Chile’s wide daily swings between sun and frost concentrate polyphenols and vitamin C naturally, with no need for additives.
Every harvest is tested against our deposited DNA reference to confirm it is genuinely AP‑4®, not a substitute variety. Combined with standardised drying and milling, this keeps potency and specification consistent from the first batch to the last, something most rosehip suppliers cannot guarantee.
